Carteret is renowned for its bustling seasonal Thursday market, offering an irresistible selection of fresh local produce—from just-caught seafood and artisanal cheeses to fruit, vegetables, and sweet treats. The town also boasts a fantastic array of dining options, including cosy bistros, traditional brasseries, seafood specialists serving Moules Frites and “Fruit de Mer” platters, and even Michelin-starred restaurants.
