A designated Ramsar wetland of international importance, the Ecréhous offer two dramatically different worlds depending on the tide. At high water, the traditional fishermen’s huts appear almost adrift - isolated and exposed to the surrounding sea. But when the tide drops, the entire landscape transforms: vast sandbanks emerge, rock pools glisten in the sun, and the reef expands into a surreal, otherworldly playground. It’s the perfect place for paddleboarding, swimming, exploring, or simply enjoying a picnic with unbeatable island views.
