Mini Bioluminescence – Intertidal Walk

Step into a glowing world after dark and meet the amazing creatures that light up our shores! This family-friendly adventure reveals the secret life of the intertidal zone as it comes alive under the stars. Perfect for curious kids and their grown-ups. Duration: 1.5–2 hrs.

These guided walks are run at or just after dusk, so that children (and their grown-ups) can participate in an early evening adventure, to explore shallow pools and discover some of the supremely adapted creatures that live in the rocky intertidal zone on the southeast corner of Jersey.

Wellies are recommended, especially during the cooler months. Adult sized wellies and waterproofs are available free of charge, and these must be reserved during the booking process.
