The Art of Story Telling Workshop Series

Join the Harbour Gallery Jersey for a set of lovely evenings to put pen to paper after being inspired by beautiful art work.

Come along for a unique writing experience in the inspirational setting of The Harbour Gallery Jersey. Writers - whether aspiring or experienced - are invited to attend a short artists' talk, then let their imagination run wild, writing a story or a poem inspired by a work of art. At each session 2 diverse artists will speak, giving our wordsmiths a choice of paintings to focus on. We would love to hear your interpretations... and there is a choice for publication too!

You can come to just 1 or all of them - Sessions 6.30 - 9.00pm on a Thursday with a complimentary drink on arrival.

Artists will explain techniques behind their work. Writers you have 45 minutes to draft a response/story of around 200 words. At the end the artists will reveal the original inspirations behind their work. After editing the writers have the option of submitting their pieces for inclusion in a book or on postcards.
