Jersey War Tunnels

Les Charrieres Malorey, St. Lawrence, JE3 1FU

Jersey War Tunnels

Jersey War Tunnels tells the true story of wartime Jersey in a way that no other visitor attraction does. It’s the best place to get a true picture of what life was really like in Jersey during WWII. The exhibition is housed within an underground tunnel complex, built by the Germans using slave labour.

Jersey War Tunnels is the only place in the island where you will experience the full story of the German Occupation of the Island. Experience this extraordinary exhibition housed within over 1,000m of underground tunnels, built by the Germans using slave labour. This is the best preserved example of WWII German engineering in Europe.

In addition to the exhibition, visitors can also enjoy Liberation café, sun terrace, garden of reflection, all the facilities in the visitor centre, which includes a well stocked gift shop and small gallery. We also have two escape rooms and a wooded war walk. The Tunnel complex is open from 10:00 until 17:00 with last admission at 16:00.
