JGRTC: Dear Evan Hansen

An emotional musical about an anxious teenager caught in a web of lies, with songs by Pasek & Paul; suitable for ages 12 and over.

Evan is an anxious teenager who has always felt invisible. When a misunderstanding spirals into something far bigger than he ever imagined, he finds himself caught in a web of lies that offers something he has longed for his whole life: friendship, acceptance and a chance to finally belong.

This deeply emotional musical explores loneliness, family, grief and the universal desire to be seen and understood. With songs including Waving Through a Window and the anthemic You Will Be Found, Dear Evan Hansen is both heartbreaking and uplifting, a reminder of the importance of human connection in an increasingly disconnected world.

The score is by the Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-winning songwriting duo Pasek & Paul (The Greatest Showman, La La Land), and the production comes from the team behind the JGRTC's recent productions of Ghost, Chicago, Shrek and First Date.

Suitable for ages 12 and over.
