The apples are harvested and all that remains is to turn them into cider and celebrate Jersey's Norman heritage.

La Faîs'sie d'Cidre showcases one of Jersey's cherished rural Norman traditions – the cider-making process, from orchard to barrel. Visitors can watch skilled cider makers and the farm horse in action as they crush and press apples to create the initial cloudy juice. Once pressed, the juice is transferred into barrels, where it matures to become traditional Jersey cider.

The sights, sounds and flavours of this heritage craft are all on show, and there is cider from last year's pressing to sample. Suitable for all ages, this family-friendly annual festival also features food stalls, live music and a lively atmosphere celebrating Jersey's rural heritage, making for a day out filled with tradition, entertainment and local flavours.
