> Step back in time this February half-term as the Stormin’ Normans take over the Maritime Museum, bringing the drama, spectacle and stories of 1066 to life as part of MILLENIUM – 2027 European Year of the Normans.

Meet our team of historical re-enactors and discover the events surrounding the famous Battle of Hastings through thrilling demonstrations, tales from the battlefield and a fresh look at one of the most pivotal moments in Norman history. Expect sword fighting, longboats, horses and the truth behind that legendary arrow in the eye!
