Normans on the Move
at TBC

Discover the stories that connect Europe through Normans on the Move, an exciting international film project forming part of MILLENIUM 2027 – European Year of the Normans. Bringing together aspiring filmmakers, this unique initiative explores the legacy of Norman migration through documentary, fiction and experimental short films.
A cinematic journey, guided by French and local film professionals, participants will collaborate in intensive 72-hour workshops, using cinema to uncover stories of cultural exchange, movement and shared heritage.
The project also encourages cross-border collaboration, with filmmakers travelling between partner countries before coming together for a final creative workshop at the renowned Off-Courts Festival in Trouville-sur-Mer, France.
Whether you're passionate about film, fascinated by European history or curious to see fresh creative perspectives on the Norman world, Normans on the Move offers an inspiring celebration of storytelling, collaboration and the enduring connections that continue to link Jersey with its European neighbours.
