Playmobil Battle of Hastings

If you thought Playmobil figures were only for children to play with at home, think again! Discover the events of 1066 in miniature form, as part of MILLENIUM – 2027 European Year of the Normans.
To celebrate MILLENIUM – 2027 European Year of the Normans, the Tudor Hall at Mont Orgueil Castle is filled with tiny toy soldiers and horses to recreate the famous Battle of Hastings. Designed by Jean-Paul Turquois, a Playmobil enthusiast, the model is seven metres by three metres and it takes him three days to place the hundreds of figures.
A fun way for families to interact with this complex history and Jersey’s place in the story, this is one display you won’t want to miss. Supported by Government of Jersey and Creative Island Partnership.
